XLERPLATE steel is a steel plate product manufactured by BlueScope at Port Kembla, NSW, Australia, to standards AS/NZS 3678:2011 Structural steel – hot-rolled plates, floorplates and slabs and AS 1548:2008 Fine-grained, weldable steel plates for pressure equipment. It is used for structural, boiler and pressure vessel applications, as well as to specific chemistry requirements for specialised applications.
